How Much Effort To Setup Like Youtube Videos?
My 3 year old loves watching the random Beam.ng videos he comes across where they drive random cars down ramps or over train tracks with trains bashing into them.

I was just curious how much effort it takes to make these map setups myself?

It takes some effort, but it's not that hard. Personally I enjoy hitching a camper trailer onto a rally car and drive it in traffic until I crash. Messing about in the replay afterwards is good fun as well, for example seeing the crash from the AI vehicle's perspective. Setting this up is done in less than a minute once you know how.

Getting a train onto the tracks isn't that hard either, and there are ways to save the vehicles on the map, so that once done you don't have to do it over again the next time.

Learning this stuff isn't all that difficult and will let you be way more creative in how you play the game.

If you're interested I'd suggest searching for things like "beamng how to XXXXXXX" or similar, and most likely you'll find forum posts and videos explaining everything.
Check out some of the videos and see if it's something you'd be up for..
Good luck!

These guys are pro’s and been doing it for years. Believe you me, its not as fun as you think it is. Bit like watching a film with superb explosion, crashes etc. then when you see how it’s done - you doing it in the editor - it quickly looses its appeal. A lot of editing for a “is that it”.
It’s the ‘not knowing’ in YouTube that makes its appeal , but your the one knowing what *does* happen and that’s when it just gets grindy.
