Man For 1080p gaming TAA+Clarity and Sharpen filters from nividia freestyle is the best combo ever.
You get good performance cause TAA isn't heavy as MSAA and you get clear and sharp image like FXAA using nividia Freestyle, So your basically getting Little to no edge flickering and having a Clear image with this combo idk why all game devs don't just do this trick.
I'd rather have jagged lines (that are almost never noticed while moving); rather than feel ill with all the blurry textures created by AA
part of the issues with beam is probably that they are using a pretty obscure engine that is likely heavily modified to fit the physics. They probably have to implement a lot of those seemingly basic features themselves
