Nitrous oxide

I missed the last few updates and just started playing again with this bus update, how exactly do I use Nitrous? I cant seem to find anything about it in the controls menu.

Equip it in the vehicle parts (under the engine parts).
To enable it, you either press the button that appears in the app with the 'Engine Start/Stop' button, as shown here:

Also, why do the Jato rockets on the new bus stop working even with 25% fuel left?

I dont think I have any video recording programs, nor do I have any online accounts I could upload the video to, sorry for the inconvenience.
I hope screenshots are enough:
If you look at the bottom right, you can see that the Jato fuel is still at about 25%, but even when I push my gas pedal to the max, (on a controller), the Jato rockets dont activate.
