Sudden fps drop and massive stutters
So I play beammp, and after a certain amount of time I get a massive frame drop from 100 to 5fps partnered with insane sound stuttering.

I check the performance graphs and it says that ‘Sfx’ is taking hundreds of milliseconds. Sometimes even a 2000milisecond spike. I am using Realtek hd audio with 24bit 44100hz. Any solutions? Restarting fixes this but it comes back after a while.

It happens any time you have a lot of different audio overlapping for an extended period of time. It's not a BeamMP issue because I run multiplayer demolition derbies using the RDP mod and Parsec, and it still happens to us. This issue essentially forced our entire community to take a break from the game until the issue is fixed. Hopefully the patch comes out sooner rather than later and we can all get back to wrecking.

I get the same thing, it seems to be happening when I'm at around or over 1 car per core(but not always), if I alt-tab it usually gets back to normal but starts happening again when someone connects or disconnects, also this is likely a Beammp problem not a Beamng problem.

Yeah this is the most up to date version, I don’t know the exact number. I’ll test it by spawning a ton of cars in single player I guess
i spawn 1 car and im stuck at 1 fps ALSO IN THE PURE SMALL GRILL MAP!!!!111!11

Not really, if you turn on performance graph in settings, see what is causing lag. For me it was Sfx = sound. Changing sound voices sort of worked but only increased time until it broke. I think it’s mainly BeamMp related for me

Happens occasionally when im in a multiplayer server, someone joins with a bad connection and the server gets tanked.
