Your anti-virus may be the reason for some of the issues posted

I was fighting with my anti-virus over beamNG and as soon as I told it it's not a threat to the PC it helped running the game properly. Unsure if this could be why some people have the issues they have but I am just giving an opinion, check your anti-virus. Should be 3 things the anti-virus will complain about, these are beamng.drive.exe, beamng.drive.x64.exe and beamng.drive.x64.ui.exe. If they are blocked by the anti-virus the game obivously may not function correctly.

Avast just removed a portion of it because it said that it was infected. This is something that the developers should look into.

That breaks the game and won't function correctly, I have bitdefender, it didn't remove anything, just need to aprove the files

Windows Defender or McAfee is good to use.
