PS3 controller sensitivity?
I'm using a PS3 controller which is attached (by wire) to my computer specifically for beamng. I steering wheel is much too expensive - oh how i want one - so I've been trying to tune this controller. in American Truck Simulator you can change the sensitivity and such, and i found the force feedback settings which has that graph with the dead zone settings in it. but i cant figure out how to turn down the sensitivity. Do i need a separate software?

What do I do?
Thanks.

adjust the analog stick curves, make them bow out or bow in to change sensitivity.

EDIT: An alternative is to use Steam specific controller configuration for that.
Right click game, manage, controller configurations, left stick (or whichever stick you use), additional settings.
You can do your deadzone and your sens.

Can't believe there isn't a standard in game sensitivity setting for a car game.
But then again beam is just a lot of different bits thrown together.
Glad you posted this so recently because I just ran into the same problem, and about 4000 trees.
Verdict is its still hard.
Why do you believe the game has no such setting when my original comment already shows how to adjust the built-in setting?

Well you could start with guidance on WHERE to find the option in an already convoluted menu system, since neither the OP or I had been able to find it ourselves initially. I would not have come here to begin with if I had found a stick curve in the options so that in itself is saying something, whether it be about me or about the game's menus.

When scouring forums for information on complicated or obscure games you tend to find repeated and unresolved issues EVERYWHERE because
A- People only half answer questions
and
B- Because OP never comes back to confirm or deny a solution

I didn't explain where to find it because I believe the location is self-explanatory. You go to control settings, and click on the axis which does the steering. There you can bend the curve as much as you want in both directions.

Sorry I haven't been active on this discussion. I have fiddled around with those settings before i wrote this but I wanted to know if there was an easier way to fine tune the settings that isn't so confusing. I know how the arch works and the deadzone works but I still haven't figured out a... good setting.
I was running into another problem; at high speeds and i turn 100% left it goes 100% left which in most cases when you are going 100+mph isn't the best. If you go to the filters tab you can change how much your steering is limited. For example anywhere above 70mph you have 30% steering radius. Not sure if you already knew about this but it helped alot with this sensitivity problem!
