I have tried every combination of settings and I cant get fps above ~65 even though task manager shows its only using 45% gpu. Anyone else have a similar issue?

I get 60-65 fps, I just ran the banana-bench test and it showed I should be able to run up to 20 vehicles without any performance drop so I am not sure what the issue is. I should also mention that my cpu usage is staying right around 50% on a ryzen 3600x

what exact model is it? gigabyte master, aurous, ASUS, ASUS ROG, ASUS TUF, MSI?

second, if you messed around in your bios before this, download the nividia OC software, or msi afterburner, from there i could try to identify it

also, consider getting this...

click setup for 32-bit and 64-bit

if you upgraded your GPU from a different one, you need to remove the old drivers in addition to installing the new ones. I've never done this, but it's a thing people have to do

its your CPU, the 3600 is already a bottleneck to the 2080 series of cards - the 30 series just makes the CPU bottleneck even more noticeable due to the even faster card. Maybe try running a higher resolution like 1440p or 4k, or try overclocking ur CPU.

I dont know how fast ur ram is, but minimum speed for the 3000 series for ideal performance is 3200MHz and make sure its running in dual channel mode.

you sound like you use one of those "bottleneck calculators". I really hope you aren't.

his cpu is running 60%,would it not be at 100% if it were trying to keep up?

you found at least half of the problem, I have 32Gb of 3200MHz ram but it was running at 2800MHz.

Its a love hate relationship. I love that they aren't intel, but I hate how frustrating some of the random issues they cause are
