ryzen 2200g
16gb ram
r9 290
1680x1050.
runs like crap compared to the videos ive seen of people running it on the iGPU of the ryzen 2200g.
2070 super
It's 144hz monitor, show me a game that does 2k 144fps with max graphics. And no CS or any other "competitive" shooters.
For real, this game does like 40 fps and if i sacrifice shadows i might get 60-70 and that is okay ish with g-sync.
32 GB DDR4 Ram
gtx 1650 super
500 gb NVMe SSD
Windows 8.1 Pro
There's about 6~8 500/512gb SSD's in here at any one time as project resource drives. When you work on a project, it's not unheard of to need one or more TB worth of project space, plus you need backup space.
BluRay writer driver, Pioneer brand. Was 40~60$ OEM, what can I say?
While I've had this for a while already, I only build one every 5~6 years as of late, so it's got to last a while.
All settings stocks except RAM XMP / DOCP profile enabled. NO water cooling = no leaks.
RAM and NVME SSD were grabbed out of the 'bargain bin' basically.
Motherboard was originally Asrock x570 Phantom Laming 4 but the 3950x smoked it, so I threw it back in the motherboard box where it deserves to live, went to a local store and got an Asus motherboard and put that in - I'm so sorry I cheated on you ASUS, never again.
700w sony sound system (could be more?) and 40" screen I got from the Cash-N-Carry.
NO RGB LED disco-ball stuff here except a small spot on the replacement motherboard which couldn't be avoided. I don't need it puking rainbows like no tomorrow.
It's VERY energy efficient, it doesn't bake me out of the room, it's quiet, it's very modest looking (think: non-descript black box), and it gets the job done.
Absolutely, positively wipes the floor with my old Haswell 4790k heater, while still producing A LOT less heat and using less power, with nearly no noise unless it's nearing 100% use.
I'd probably still be using the Haswell but when my nephew wrecked his car, I spent a weekend in the garage fixing it so that he could get to work on Monday, and for that effort I made him buy me the parts to make a new one. This way I did not have to use project money on my PC parts, something I don't like to do.
I wouldn't really recommend a user purchase more than an 8-core 16-thread CPU for any reason really, with a 12-core 24-thread CPU being the absolute max. Otherwise you're just wasting money that can be put towards a GPU that will bring FPS up in games that aren't this game.
What is best build for BeamNG Drive machine?
5600x~5800x~5900x CPU (pick one depending on how many cars you want to run)
Noctua cooler for CPU (use noctua site to check compatibility with motherboard)
32gb 3200mhz RAM in 2x 16gb dual-rank MICRON sticks for best performance*
B550 or X570 chipset depending on how much you plan to expand the system, I recommend ASUS motherboards as all others have failed, Gigabyte is a close second.
Any 8gb GPU you can get your hands on, even a 1070 Ti is just dandy for this game
Seasonic or similar quality PSU. This is a must, don't be cheap. Ripple kills, folks.
Solid case you don't mind living around/with for years you plan to keep the system, and please for the love of all that is holy, get something with dust filters AND clean them regularly.
*Micron memory has best compatibility and is quite overclockable if you wish to do so, barring the fact you must leave the 3rd timing number alone when doing so. Samsung B-die is STILL parroted to be the best, but it's been out of production for about TWO YEARS now. Dual rank memory gives a free 12% performance boost to Ryzen 5000 series processors, so choose 16gb sticks over 8gb sticks if possible.
Use any video card you can get your grubby mitts on, in this day and age.
> HyperX Fury (Black) 32GB (2 x 16GB) DDR4 3200MHz
> AMD RX 5700 XT 8GB
> (x2) 500GB SSD
> 3TB HDD
Solid 60+ on 1440p n' with AI Vehicles.
A very solid Rig my man, You're playing on a 1440p/60 or a 1440p/165 monitor?
