Has anyone ran a 6 second pass or lower dragracing 1/4 mile RWD?
i have been trying to get in the 6 second range with the gavril pick up.
i have done a 6,9 so far but i feel im using waay to much power to achieve this and awd.
(peak is over 2400hp) and when i try to do the same on rwd i just cant do it.
it either wheelies instantly or i have to adjust 2 step /launchboost so low it doesnt move out.

what suspension settings should i be adjusting to stop it doing wheelies?
is there a mod for a powerglide or something? im using a dragspec 6 speed now (auto)
any ideas/mods that might help?

also post your times and car, im curious to see what others do.

Rip off all panels for weight reduction like doors and fenders

use something else? a heavy pickup truck probably isn't the most ideal for really really quick times

ran 5.9 a few times with 80 psi and a big shot of nitrous ;)

well its already pretty light, removed everything that isnt needed, beside body panels, i still want it to look like a truck.
and since its trying to do wheelies into second and 3 gear i really really need more weight on the front if anything.

i have been trying with other cars but so far the most succes i had is with the truck.
(i also like to channel my inner american by using a truck)
some other cars dont have the right power or mods
the grand marshall also works nice but the same issues as the truck.

the ibishu 200bx does seem the better candidate as it has mods for a wheeliebar and stuff
but yeah i like trucks :D

with what car?
im using a modded v8 with 100psi and atleast a 500 shot. it has all the power but no go.

This car has Meos drag parts, CJD special parts, and an RK engine
The Meo parts gives it an adjustable wheeliebar and bigger stickier tires
CJD gives it adjustable wing and 2 speed trans with adjustable torque converter
RK engine is pretty crazy, mild to wild it has insane adjustability

The same mods all apply to the truck as well, but mid 4s won't be on the table in that heavy brick

nice! very smooth, the driveshaft breaking is so beamng lol. all the mods but not driveshafts hehe.
im using meo's drag parts and RK but not for the truck, i dont know the name of the engine mod im using but it works nice with the als turbo mod. (its like a "leroy" engine mod) i do use meo's nitrious kit.
and im not after 4's or 5's atm, just a 6.5 would be nice, and maybe more consistent.
now i have to be really fast on the tree and keep that thing in line as it moves all over the place. i wil check out the cjd special parts cause a 2 speed like that would really help allot i think.

If you want something designed to go fast, I put a "Draghawk" mod on the repo that turns the Moonhawk into a long wheelbase, widebody, aero nose drag car, with a driveshaft that gets the job done. It is just a rolling chassis, you will need to tune the chassis, add a mod motor with a lot of guts and sticky tires to make it a rocket. It works with all Moonhawk mods except front suspension and steering, since it is a longer wheelbase those will not line up.

Driveshafts are tricky, the problem is usually length changes when the suspension cycles/deforms. An inch extra travel on the driveshaft beam fixed everything after changing weight/strength/deform values did squat. In the end, it was plenty strong, just not quite long enough once I slammed the car to the ground with suspension/frame changes.

thats a pretty nice mod. goes like a rocket (why no one did this before!)
it does pull to the right all the time for some reason so maybe some tuning there. (on my part lol)
i used the same ole 6 speed as im still figuring out the powerglide or the direct drive.
i think i need to use the RK 9 liter for the direct drive? :D
thats gonna keep me busy for a while.

TBH, I've started to question why a lot of mods are missing or very poorly done. The code for this game isn't complicated and the devs even made notes throughout to help people know what they are looking at. I had no clue how to do any of it and watched a guy making a car on stream, 2 weeks later I released the Draghawk. I played a car design GAME that was harder to get things done in. (Homebrew)

The direct drive comes with a VERY tight torque converter that requires at least 7k hp with good bottem end torque to get moving. If you swap it out for the CJD adjustable converter you can reduce the diameter to loosen it up for use with less power.
