PS4 Controller configuration
I recently bought a new PS4 controller and I've been trying to use it on some games in my computer. The problem is that, at least with BeamNG, the controls feels rather janky and very sensitive. Is there any configuration someone can recommend to make them feel more smooth?

The shame is that the PS4 controller really isn't designed for Windows. I've found it'll always be janky when connected via USB cable (some buttons don't work, and using DS4Windows, the inputs are duplicated), however using DS4Windows and connecting via Bluetooth, the whole button map works and the controls are more smooth.
I use DS4Windows with mine on Bluetooth, and I have a small deadzone at centre on the steering, with a small bit of "smoothing" (can't remember the setting name), and its not too bad.

I see, I see. I was mostly asking because I was messing around with the setting in Big Picture mode and I just couldn't get it to feel less janky. Funnily enough, I used to use a PS3 controller and the inputs on that one felt 10 times more smooth in terms of steering and acceleration
