Buffer Overrun

[Drunken Idaho]

Bought the game a couple of days ago. It was working fine, but last saturday morning the game crashes to desktop everytime I load a map.

BeamNG.drive 0.23.5.0 0xC0000409 STATUS_STACK_BUFFER_OVERRUN

The game is vanilla. No mods are installed.
Tried updating video divers. Also uninstalled the game from steam and deleted the beamng folder in "my documents". Then performed a new install, to no avail.

Also tried REFUNDING the game, but as it worked fine at the beginning I'm past the 2 hours period, so I'm not elegible for a refund anymore.

I'd like for this game to either work again, or work something out so I can get a refund.

Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-8600K CPU @ 3.60GHz 3.60 GHz
RAM 16,0 GB
GTX 1060 6 gb
Running on Phisical HDD
WIN 10 64bit

yeah i found the issue with this sadly its a huge memory leak issue causing it to go from what i experienced up to 25gb+ of memory

Yeah i been having this issue alot

Cleaning cache seems to fix it But i have to do it quite often

Just wait for them to come out with a patch

Exactly. Cleaning the cache helped... For a while. The games crashing a again. Such a waste of money. Negative review incoming.

Give the devs some times to fix it first. This game definetly has one of the best devs

I had the same issue:) Turn off dynamic reflections completely in graphics menu. That removed the crashes for me. Sad because the reflections are needed for mirrors in cockpit view. And the cars also look a lot nicer with coloring with that turned on.. But it is what it is...

Yea I see you don't run BeamMP at all. Dynamic reflections is 100% the issue at fault. Turn it off and you should be able to play again.
