no breaks in scenario: Lession 7: hairpin curve

There is a quest in the Driving School senario where, you have to make a hairpin curve. But the breaks are not working.

Well I dont understand how they use the breaks, because my usual keys arent working in this quest.

Do you have the Crosscovet mod, or another mod that adds it (Gavril Mione, for example)? That mod seems to break the Covet's brakes.
