How to boost a vehicles speed?

Is there a way to press a button and boost speed? So I can crash into something at tremendous speeds? :p

nah. But you can press esc, go into the apps tab, search for Wind! and add the app. then you can point the compass for the wind in the direction you wanna go and set the wind speed all the way up
