PSA: Xbox 360 Wireless Speed Wheel
I couldn't find anything about this that was both recent and intelligible, but I finally got to test it myself. This is on Windows 10 version 1909. Will try with version 2004 soon.

The Xbox 360 Wireless Speed Wheel- the U-shaped thing with green rings on each end- does work with an official Microsoft Xbox 360 Wireless Receiver for Windows.
For Steam games. No luck with Forza.

You'll want to set the left-stick deadzone all the way down in Steam Settings. It's equivalent to a center deadzone of about .07 in BeamNG's settings, and I would recommend setting that in-game. It's actually quite nice to use as it is, but if anyone knows how to remove the deadzone on Steam's settings, please tell me.

I changed the driver for "HID-compliant game controller" to "Microsoft Sidewinder Precision Pro (USB)" while trying to get it to work with Forza, and I didn't try undoing that after opening up Steam, so that may or may not be important.
Also, I was borrowing an official Microsoft adapter, purchased back when Microsoft actually cared about it.
