For split screen can you use another keyboard as a "controller" ? so we both have a keyboard each or must it be a seperate device altogether ?

If you meant multiseat, then yes.
Each player needs their own device.
For example keyboard + controller for two players.
Or keyboard + controller + phone with our app for three players and so on.

Two players cannot use the same device (for example two players and one keyboard)

With multi seat, is there anyway to split the screen at all so we an each see out own car ?

That's called 'splitscreen', and the game doesn't have that (see FAQ link in my previous post).

Although in update 0.11, the Orbit camera was changed so that when you use it in multiseat mode, all the cars are in view:

(That's automatic, as soon you enable Multiseat and spawn more vehicles)

Ahh i see the difference now thanks. Really hope you guys do get to impliment it at some point, would be alot of fun as i imagain multiplayer will be stupidly hard too do on a game like this.
