I'd like the camera to stay as the driver cam, not switch to the external one.
Turned the campaign, and game, off in the end as it was very annoying.
Completely, totally, yes!
At exactly the same point in the 'script'.
Start driving truck, get to edge of mountain, drive over edge, switch camera to external.
I went through all the settings I could find, but couldn't stop it doing it.
At that those things it will change automaticly yes to a chinematic camera to enjoy all the glory from a better view.
I dont know if you can turn off.
Anyway if you go into freeroam mode this will never happen, so you can try replicate there what you are doing but keep the same camera no matter what
When the car's in the air the cinematic camera kicks in and it looks great, then as you get to impact, it switches back into the cockpit and all you can see is a cracked windscreen.
Then if something spectacular does happen, I can't see an option to view a replay (because the camera switching missed it), just take a photo.
This was my first experience of the game and it was hugely disappointing.
I strongly suggest you go into “freeroam” and try out everything it got to offer there.
How can you not agree with them? I was describing what happened to me in the game, how it behaved.
I have a video of it if you really want me to post it.
I'm done.
yes show me a video.
How about you try that campaign yourself, and come back and tell me it doesn't happen for you? How can you disagree without even trying it?
This should not occur in other modes.
Thanks - but this makes it almost unplayable.
On at least 2 of the scripts. I start off in a cinematic camera facing my car head on, from a distance. Driving is almost impossible, and certainly not fun.
Since steering is now opposite to how I'd naturally steer, the car is incredibly difficult to drive, and several times I've driven it off the edge of the screen. The camera hasn't followed it, so I end up trying to drive a car, from a cinematic camera, counter steering, that I cannot see.
Not fun.
We are aware, we are already got similar feedback.
For now we are focused on the newer content and features. Once we go revisit those campaigns, we will look for better solutions.
It's nauseating to jump camera views and you lose camera control.
Why would you not be allowed to switch camera views.
I wonder how many people didn't give up when their driving sim forced them to play from a static view of the front bumper.
