What does BeamNG.drive mean?

So what is the meaning behind the name of this really awesome game?

All vehicles are made by beams (jbeams, uh?) so probably that's what it means, NG means "Next Generation"

I could be wrong with the Beam part but eh?

Beams are one of the core parts of the game (along with 'Nodes').
Next Gen because we took it several steps further from the previous installment (Rigs of Rods)

Wow. Awesome. I actually played some Rigs of Rods years ago when I was in highschool and my laptop at that time couldn't even run more than BeamNG's gridmap with any other vehicle but the truck.
