World of Mods in 2019

Hey Community! I have a BIG QUESTION. Does anybody know how to install mods from world of Mods (without opening that stupid exe file) . I just want a little fun with these crappy mods ;). I always get my mods from the offical Beam.ng drive website. I hope i will get an answer soon :). See ya

I would advise against doing so, as most of them do not work.

Yea just don't. It's not worth the risk

Although if you ok with getting a virus and downloading mods that are stolen/don't work feel free to install them in:

Documents>BeamNG.drive>mods

Do not unpack them!

And NEVER open an .exe from a Russian site, or anywhere unreliable for than matter unless you are ok with your computer getting destroyed by a virus and having all your data stolen :)

In the past i was downloading them pretty often and i never had a virus. Since September 18 World of mods has removed the option to install them manually. every file you download contains a exe file that opens a installer (i hope so). so the old way is no longer possible

If you open that .exe even with all of us telling you not too it's basically just natural selection at that point :P

if you're getting an exe, you're clicking an ad, not the real download button. regular zip downloads still exist.

That sounds really dodgy. An .exe from a Russian site... yeah no thanks

Sometimes if you hit the depositfiles download you can get a zip that has the copy to game folder files inside.

I scanned the exe and mmrc with https://www.virustotal.com and it appears to be clean.

Their mods are either stolen or broken. Stay away.
