When I was in my late teens my family resurrected the old Dodge truck that'd been laying in a field since before I was born. According to wiki it looks like a 1958-ish model, probably a medium-duty truck. And it was my first taste of driving as something to enjoy. It was big and loud, with a huge V8 and an even huger hole in the muffler. And I loved it.
I learned to drive in my mother's Citroen C3. It was a nice little car, light and with decent handling. It was very easygoing, perfect for me to start out with.
My current daily-drive is a Land-Rover Defender 110.
Not all of them. Every brand has it's black sheep, and even Toyota has built mediocre-or-worse engines.
