More AI Traffic Variety Settings

I noticed that you cannot configure the type of cars that appear in traffic, only that you can pick an option which allows for any car configuration to appear. It would be nice to chose the exact type of cars which the AI is going to roam around with. The amount of police cars patrolling sadly can't be configured as well, which I was looking forward to plus they also follow you really slowly and can't keep up.

Overall the update is a really nice step in the right direction, and by no means am I trying to offend anyone. My question is just whether you are going to address this any time soon?

I am completely on the same page as you, like you said I just wish there was more customization.

There is a way to spawn more cops though, all you do is clear all traffic is there is any, then click spawn police, (wait for them to load) and then go back and click spawn police again. Now there will be 4 cops and 3 civilians (this is all assuming you have your amount of traffic set to 7).

I have got it set to Auto, so I guess it shouldn't be a problem... Have you found a map or location where the cops are willing to go faster than just city speeds, i.e. more than 30? It's really frustrating.

Well there is a map called the matrix highway (I think) that is pretty much just a straight highway with a curve that just loops around, I havent tried the cops on the map but in theory they should go faster. Im off to try it now.

Edit: Just tried the traffic on the map and it was no good, they were all driving on the wrong side and just crashing into the walls.

you can just spawn custom cars your self and start the traffic and they will drive. and you should take the traffic debugger app and use that its more useful than the circle menu.

Would be actually cool to decide myself what police cars are spawning as police when u spawn traffic with police. Maybe in Car Selection menu add some tick option so just tick the car u wanna have, cause every time this old dam 50s car spawns as cop car and i want some modern one.. Still Update right step finally into right direction.

you can spawn cars yourself and then start traffic and they will drive

not sure if this is outdated but you can! just spawn in some cars you want to be in the traffic and just go to ai and then traffic and click start traffic and those vehicles will act the same as normal traffic would.
