Acer Aspire E5-575G-53VG
I've looked around and am starting to get a little confused. I have the Acer laptop listed in the title. So I downloaded BeamNG last night and my computer was running really hot and slow. Is it my graphics card that's slowing me down or is 6GB of RAM not enough. I saw quad core was optimal, but 6GB was acceptable. Worth springing for a new graphics card and or adding more RAM?

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

the acer aspire laptop series aren't meant for gaming and more towards office use, you're better off buying a cheap pre-owned system for beamNG

Yea that's primarily what it's used for. Basic web browsing, work VPN, etc. What's a good brand for preowned system? I know it's difficult to say, but could it be done under $500? Where's a reputable place to buy?

Thank you for the response!

Of course!
Ryzen 3 3200G, A320M Board, 8GB 2666 DDR4, Radeon RX570 Armor OC, 240GB SSD, Case and Power Supply for 419€ which are 464 Dollars, everything brand new. You should easily achieve a solid 60 FPS with that
