Says my cpu is under 2 Ghz

I just changed my cpu to i5 4690 and was testing it out recently. When I started Beam Ng it gave me a warrning that my system does not meet minimum requirements because my cpu speed is under 2.0 Ghz. Is this some kind of bug or is there something up with my new (used) Cpu ? Game run pretty good though

Also, what is your CPU speed according to the Windows Task Manager?

Ok, I'll do that when I get to my gaming pc.

I did not check it in Task manager, but I remember intel identification utility was showing 3.7 Ghz

It could also simply be in powersaving mode in the BIOS. My CPU, when in eco mode, goes down to aroun 800Mhz, and only increases when it's needed, so it could be that. If you use HWMonitor, you can track your CPU's clock speeds on the fly.

ok I fixed it. I did set optimized defaults in the settings and now it shows normal speed, I don't think game's performance changed. Maybe it was just some kind of recognition error.

Still, check what the Windows Task Manager says.
That utility you used maybe is showing your what the CPU speed should be, not the actual one you are having (The game does check that)

Yeah, now task manager shows normal speed ~3,8

No, message no longer appears. Now all the apps that were showing 0.8 (steam big picture), shows normal speed.
I can do it if you still need it, but I'm pretty sure it now it will show regular info.
