Game switches into windowed mode when alt tabbing

Can I change it to stay in fullscreen when alt tabbing out of the game? Sometimes it actually does stay in fullscreen after alt tabbing, but sometimes it goes into windowed mode. I cant find anything in the options, so does anyone here know more than me?

I don't think it's possible. I believe Windows is stock that way. What I do is I press CTRL+ALT+DELETE that pulls up taskmanager and the taskbar. That is how I "tab out".

It works with other games without problems tho, and sometimes it stays in full screen, so there has to be something behind it?

What do you mean? All I do is ALT+CTRL+DELETE to taskmanager, the taskbar is up and exit taskmanager and do your stuff outside of the game.

Alternatively you can use windowed mode by default but also enable Borderless in the graphics options menu.

If you change the resolution to your screen's max resolution, you will have the game in fullscreen without this tabbing out problem.

Thanks for the reply, but even with the max resolution the game allows me to choose (1920 x 1080 (16:9) 60Hz) it wont stay in fullscreen after alt tabbing, so I will just use borderless windowed mode. Thanks for the help.

it is annoying but to go back to fullscreen hit ALT + ENTER (left alt in my case)
