So me and melon talked for about five minutes and we found a temp. fix for this issue. for some reason when he downloaded mods from the repository or from online, and put it into the mods folder he could see the mod (map) in the mods section, but he could not play it. We resolved this issue by having him right click beamng drive, propertys, then content, maps, and putting the map into there.

TL;DR : We resolved this issue by having him right click beamng drive, propertys, then content, maps, and putting the map into there.

Thanks for the explanation, although it's highly un-recommended to put mods in the content folder of the game.
The mod-manager does not work with them, and you risk of loosing your mods when a new update is out.
Instead use Documents/BeamNG.Drive/levels (or vehicles) folder if you want to do that.

For the issue, we need to investigate that. I'd need:
- The name/link of the mod that does not work
- A support ID (after you replicated the problem: https://wiki.beamng.com/BeamNG_FAQ#A_developer.2Fsupport_contact_asked_me_to_submit_a_.27Support_Request.27._How_do_I_do_that.3F )

I know I asked a Support ID earlier, but a newer one would be more handy.

We tryed puting mods into Documents/Beamngdrive/levels but it didnt work, the only place we could find that worked was right click beamng drive, propertys, content, levels.

Edit: Good to hear nadox, keep up the good work!

EDIT:
I was just informed we found and fixed the issue.
A hotfix should be out in the following days with that.

Thank you so much :)

I have the same problem, I did the clean reinstall, nothing helps.

It will be fixed in the next hotfix.
For now use the manual method to get your levels:

With vehicles it's another story.
Are those from the repository?
If so, are you sure those are enabled?
Link to one of those so that I can check?

clean install the game, dont forget to manualy delete C:/Documents/Beamngdrive

Delete that folder and clear your recycle bin before re-installing

You'll need to wait for the next hotfix then, which will solve this problem.

(I don't know as if this will help) Sometimes when I start up the game, I immediately go into freeroam and my modded maps don't show. But I either stay in that menu and wait a minute to show up or I exit back to the starting menu and go back into the freeroam, and they show up!

Sorry for the Huge ass bump, But this is for some players that have manually tried to move the game folder across drives, What happened to me is that all my mods went into content, not into my mods folder so they didnt work

Mods never go in the Gamefolder/Content folder.
They have to go in Userfolder/mods folder

Have mods in the Gamefolder, will risk you of loosing them when Steam updates the game, as it will wipe those files. It will also make it much harder to solve any mod related problem.

This is the official guide on how to install mods:
https://wiki.beamng.com/How_to_install_mods

Your installation is probably modified now, I would directly suggest to you do a Clean Install:
https://wiki.beamng.com/BeamNG_FAQ#How_do_I_perform_a_clean_reinstall.3F
In order to remove any modified file from the Gamefolder.

Then re-download and install the mods properly as explained in the guide I linked above.
