How does it run with BeamNG.drive?

Will I notice any performance increase?

I have a Intel Core i7 950 currently.

I've said to you in the past that upgrading on a dead platform is pointless, what I would do is wait for the i7 8700K to be launched and buy that as it will have the same core and thread count but will be way, way, way faster than the X5670.

It’s probably not socket 1366, so it would be kinda useless.

I was asking what would be the performance increase, not if I should get it or not.... :/

A slight improvement but not much.
the improvement comes from overclocking ability...
runs much cooler
50% more cores
Used CPU costs 30~40$ (American dollars)
Upgrading whole PC costs a whole-lot-more.

Overclocking guides are everywhere, and your Asus Sabertooth x58 is no slouch, and you already have a beefy cooler.
