How Do You Remove The Rev Limiter?

I tried in gameplay settings, but the limiter is still red. I'm trying to over rev the engine.

You can't remove the limiter. It depends on the vehicle, some has it, others don't.

On vehicle's without rev limiter you can over rev easily.
On vehicle's with rev limiter, for example, by downshifting while being at high RPM.

If you use arcade mode, don't expect it to happen regularly, as the game will avoid that for obvious reasons.

i've had some luck with putting the vehicle in first gear and towing it with another vehicle. i used the new node coupling thing to attach the vehicles together

it actually seems to seize the engine of the vehicle being towed, very impressive

Older vehicles should not have rev-limiter IIRC.

They should add an aftermarket ignition upgrade with adjustable rev limiter to the old cars, all dragcars and racecars would run one
