Parking Brake Wont Stay On

I press P to engadge my parking brake, but sometimes it will lock if the vehicle is motionless, other times it will just come straight off.. very annoying...

My binds follow:
Throttle - W
Brake - S - This one seems to come out as reverse for a weird reason
Combinded Throttle Brake - N / A
Steer Left - A
Steer Right - D
Steering - N / A
Clutch - L SHIFT
Parking Brake - L SHIFT //// P
Shift Up - X
Shift Down - Z

If you hold the brake when you stand still it will reverse... thats normal, not weird

There are three parking brakes bindings (You need to tick the box on the top of the menu):

- Parking Brake : If vehicle is stopped, this will keep Parking Brake active until you accelerate again. If vehicle is moving, it will just apply the Parking Brake until you release the button.
- Parking Brake Temporary : It will apply Parking Brake until you release the button
- Parking Brake Toggle : It will apply Parking Brake. Press again to disengage

If you hover your mouse on the bindings, a tooltip will appear. It will give more details about what the binding do.

Okay, Thanks! I like to have Shift just as a brake which lasts as long as i hold, and P to be my permanent stay on till i press P again

Yes, still my problem, i want the parking brake to HOLD ON when i throttle or anything without having to hold any button

Parking Brake Toggle is the one you have to use.
It stays enabled until you disable it.
