Save situations
I am sometimes spawning cars / props to play around. Can I save this situation so i dont have to "rebuilt" everything the next time?

At the moment you can save the entire level.
Means that everything you spawned, gets saved with the level, and as soon you load it, those vehicles also gets loaded (The player vehicle won't be saved, as that's always depends on the spawnpoint you choose, and your default vehicle).
Note that this may affect scenarios, as those will load with your saved level aswell.
To undo that, you just have to go to Documents/BeamNG.drive/levels and delete the folder of the level you saved.

F11 > File > Save.

That will make the game load your saved level each time you load that map.
It's suggested NOT to save over original maps.

To delete a saved map, go to Documents/BeamNG.Drive/levels and delete the folder corresponding to that level, and the game will load the original instead.

ok i just hit save level. now i just hit load level and it will work? its not working

It ain't if you know how to use google:steammocking:
Modders like Spencer Johnson has guides etc
And some info can be found on the official beam forums/site

ive used google and still havent been able to save my custom map with all the extra stuff added so whatever

why are the spinning things not saved to the map when i add them and hit "save?

this is not correct. Several have tried to make videos and write ups but not one single one is correct. This option you suggested does not work
