Please describe in details what you did, where the mod is located and where your files are located.
I created the folder structure as told:
then downloaded the scenario starter kit[www.beamng.com] wirh scenarios folder and the prefab file.
So as described i should be able to start the scenario ingame and edit it with F11. But if i use the matrix_freeway map i downloaded the scenario wont show up but if i cange the name to a vanilla map it works.
I am speaking of where it references the name or folder structure of the map.
Look for the scripts and such in notepad++ (Notepad++ is FREE)
I know this is not my thread, but I would like to ask NADEOX1, if I download that scenario starter kit, if I can make it so that I can still work on my map while it's in there (E.G. I read something a while back you can't save your map or something while you have scenarios in there).
Basically, I am asking, If I use this, but I am still doing things with (other parts of) the map will it mess me up?
Uh, you can still work on your map normally. The thing is, if you work on a scenario, don't pack the scenario objects into a prefab, but instead save everything as it is, the scenario objects will be part of your map.
If you pack them in a prefab before saving, then the objects in the prefab will not be part of the default nap (but can be added by simply adding the prefab). Hope it makes sense.

Also, the guide is referring to official maps.
For mods you may need to create the folders in this path instead:
Documents/BeamNG.Drive/levels/...
Else the game gets confused as both level and scenario have the same path for it (Documents/BeamNG.Drive/mods - the unpacked folder is some sort of virtualization, does not result in the path)
Yeah the scenario folder is in there. But which folder structure is right? The one on the picture? (...\BeamNG.drive\mods\levels\matrix_freeway) or the one in the tutorial (...\BeamNG.Drive/mods\unpacked\yourmodName\matrix_freeway)? They're not same which was a bit confusing as this is my first try.
I moved the folder structure now to Documents/BeamNG.Drive/levels/.. now it looks like this:
https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B5Sm64G5hi_NejI0dF9JY3g5SnM/view?usp=sharing
but still same problem. The scenario won't show up in the scenario menu.
I also tested it with copy the matrix_freeway map into the vanilla map folder with no result
Like that should be good.
Can you pack the files and send them to me (keep the folder structure and everything).

->[levels]
....->[matrix_freeway]

...........-> [scenarios]

.................-> my_first_scenario.jpg
That happens because that level is old, and is using old formats.
We added some backward compatibility for that case that should solve it. It will be available in the next patch.
