My game not launching
I bought the game yesterday, but i cant play, because as soon as it starts, it opnens the ubisofit page and then closes. My pc meets the requirements and i have also done everything, updated the drivers, checked the integrity of the file, installed it on SSD, ran it as administrator, updated my pc, but still dosent run, can someone help me?

Sorry to hear Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora is not launching on your PC.

Try also disabling ALL 3rd party, unnecessary applications running in the background, especially 3rd party overlays like GeForce Experience (Nvidia App), Overwolf and Discord but also if you are running a VPN client (even if not connected), close it and kill its process.

If this does not help you, share with us the full specs of your PC, please.

Game pathway: 4TB(D:) > SteamLibrary > steamapps > common > AFOP

Windows version: Windows 10
Played with PS5 controller plugged in via usb. I have 2 monitors. Both game and ubisoft connect are on the D drive.
Context: I have played about 38 hours of this game. Had no issues during playtime. Went overseas so didnt play the game for 2 weeks, now the game doesnt launch. If i click the game icon it says to open steam. On the steam library the button goes from: "PLAY" to "CANCEL" then back to "PLAY". No new windows opens during this time.

Unfortunately, the problem might be your processor, as it does not meet the minimum requirements [ubi.li] needed for this game to work.

I'm afraid there is not much we can offer here, knowing that your processor does not meet the necessary requirements.

I tried everything and still not working. Im really lost at this point. Ive contacted steam for a refund only for them to say no. I get that Ive played a fair chunk but I have no idea what else to do.

Hey there cheesetoto,

sorry to hear that the issue still persists for you after trying out a lot of the steps.

Since you have mentioned that this has occurred after you came back from overseas (just to refresh everything) I would advise trying the following steps:

1. Delete the Download Cache on Steam. That can help with certain issues.

2. Restart your PC and login to Steam. Once logged in, try to repair your storage folder as this can also help to resolve certain issues with game files that are damaged, missing or corrupted. On the Steam client, click on Settings >> Storage >> click on the 3 dots on the top right >> Repair Folder
