Hey guys,

Sorry to hear that you have encountered trouble connecting to the Ubisoft Connect servers.

To rule out some common causes I have some tips I would advise trying below:

- Ensure you have Ubisoft Connect [ubi.li] installed and updated
- Try to have both the game and Ubisoft Connect and Steam on the same drive
- Add Ubisoft Connect and the game to your anti-virus/firewall whitelist
- Complete the steps in our dedicated troubleshooting guide [ubi.li]
- Ensure your network is configured [ubi.li] for the game

Should you have further trouble, would it be possible to share the error you receive and information on when you first started to see that error?

Many thanks

Best advice is do not buy Ubisoft games on steam. No need for dual authentication.
Ubisoft is Always going to require their launcher. Only reason they list here is for advertising and to increase sales.
Online permissions are the best defence against piracy, not likely to ever change.
When you purchase and play games they are all subject to a EULA, basic requirements being
1 Internet access for key verification
2 Use of publisher software being Ubi-Connect here

Best way to play Ubisoft games are through their launchers, skip steam altogether

Offline play does not exist for major studios in most cases.
If you don't like it refund the game and don't buy Ubisoft games.

Hello everyone,

As we haven't received any new messages about connectivity issues with Ubisoft Connect, I understand the issue was just temporary and you were able to connect to Ubisoft services.

I'm locking this thread now.
Should you ever come across other issues with our games or services, please contact us again.
