I will be moving this thread to the support section so that moving forward it has more visibility. The issue you described often happens when the game is not installed on the required type of hard drive. Can I check what type of drive the game is installed on? Should this not be the cause, to rule out some other common causes would it be possible to please try the following steps?
• Install Ubisoft Connect and the game on the same drive as your OS
• End unnecessary background processes via Task Manager

If this then persists, would it be possible to share your system specs with us please so we can further investigate?
