Ground turning weird colors
When I go on the game square patches of ground start turning different colors (even in the day when bioluminescence is inactive) They start off as large squares of black and the squares get smaller and trun all kinds of different colors as I stay in one place. I have verified the game files, and that did not work. I have a Nvidia 3070 and 12th gen i9

I had the same issue! I read it's either something to do with FSR being enabled whilst running on Nvidia cards or driver related. I clean removed everything of my Nvidia drivers using DDU tool in Windows safe mode and just let Windows 11 install it's default driver set. That resolved my black square problem. There may have been a recent driver update from Nvidia which fixed this related issue but I wasn't going to test that theory until I completed the game. Which will go to current driver set once I carry on playing Indiana Jones again.
It's a Vram issue, you're going over your Vram limit. When it happens, open your options and look at graphics/vram settings. Turn some things down to stabilize it. Even getting super close to the cap causes it.

Yep.

I'd need a picture to confirm it, but it definitely sounds like a universal sign that your graphics card can't keep up with how fast the game is loading (i guess one way to look at it would be thinking of a purple artifact as the GPU rushing out an unfinished product when it can't meet its deadline every second lol).

Kashra covered most of it, but also keep in mind that your graphics/performance is not a fixed number - it adjusts depending on a lot of factors that changes as you play and move, especially between areas and action/exploration. So obviously, being close to the limit would be bad if it varies in both directions.

I'll try to get a picture, but I just updated my gpu, and It has stopped doing it (for now).
I've got an RTX 4090 and it still happens even on low settings
There is a setting I came across which you can find a video demo on YT called: Avatar Frontiers of Pandora | Optimization Guide For Low End GPUs. You have to go to your Nvidia Control Panel > Manage 3D Settings > (In the select a program box make sure to have Avatar's Program selected, should end with afop.exe. Look through the big box below with Specify setting's and find CUBA - Sysmen Fallback Policy > in the selection box to the right of that textbox choose Prefer Sysmen Fallback. Then Apply at the bottom of the whole window and hopefully fixed for some of us. I haven't fully tested or cannot 100% confirm this will resolve anything but if you are willing to give it a go, by all means. You can always restore the default setting by going back to those settings in the Nvidia Control Panel and the option is there to do so!
+1

Hello everyone,

Sorry to hear it you experience this issues with textures not looking correctly.

Please generate diagnostic files from your PCs and attach them to a support ticket for analysis:
Generating DxDiag and MsInfo system reports[www.ubisoft.com]

Please attach also screenshots of the issue or short video files so these can be passed on to the game team.

If you notice your GPU is running out of its VRAM, please take a screenshot of the VRAM usage.

Let us know once you have submitted a case.

I have sendt a ticket. Lets hope Ubisoft fixes this in a patch really fast. cuz this is breaking the immersion for me in the game.
I have submitted a case, although I now forgotten to make a screenie of the of vram usage. But I can tell you I have 16gb and the game is more than happen to chew through 7gb on average at it's lowest. I've personally only payed attention to it enough to see that it's gotten to 12gb.

Thanks, EU4ORICK

12GB of usage on a 16GB GPU would be still fine and give you enough VRAM headroom.
The issue must be somewhere else. Possibly drivers.

Have you tried different drivers? Maybe even older?

Thanks for letting us know, Drake.
Can you tell us since when did you start having this issue?

After an update? Since the beginning?
