How can I better optimize the game to ensure it runs smooth while also protecting my rig?
I've been having some lag issues, and the game seems to be maxing out my cpu on startup now. I lowered the graphics to help, and I'm trying to figure out if I can allocate more ram to the game, but am struggling to figure out how. Is there some optimization I can do to make sure this doesn't happen as badly?

First things first - your specs. Game begs for at least 8gb of vram or better 12. Also, play around with fsr and frame gen options.
Yush, I have 16 in the whole computer, and this pc is a good AMD 5600g and NVIDIA 3060ti. I just want to allocate more ram to the game and can't figure out how

Ill be honest - Your cpu and gpu are too weak. 16gb's of hard memory? Barely enough. I have 3080ti and game's losing some serious frames during foggy weather (highest settings); it devours resources like candies, especially vram. You can play around with swap file but the main problem is how much memory your graphic card have by default. "Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora" demands highest settings and VR in the future. Also, some serious optimization. Some people are having problems with frames even on 4090ti. Official requirements are highly optimistic :).
