not sure if my system can handle avatar frontiers of pandora
Operating System
Windows 10 Home 64-bit
CPU
Intel Core i7 9700F @ 3.00GHz

RAM
16.0GB Dual-Channel DDR4 @ 1333MHz (19-19-19-43)

Graphics
4095MB NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER

it seemed to run well but textures get kind of odd and the game will sometimes get stuck loading in things but i still get 60 frames the game runs smoothly and if im flying the ikran and going to fast seems to make it hard for the game to catch up

Hey Switch Gears

The RTX 2070 Super has 8GB of Vram, not 4GB (unless you have a very unusual version).
Double check it. Maybe it's not RTX 2070 Super.

If you do have RTX 2070 Super 8GB and Intel Core i7 9700F, however, then your system meets requirements for Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora[www.ubisoft.com]

i do have rtx 2070 super 8GB and intelcore i7 9700F but it seems to speccy see it as a 4gb it is a rtx super i mean it can handle starfield and few other games but avatar seems to have this odd thing with textures randomly looking like there on really low setting even tho its on medium the fps seems to stay 60 frames and the game will sometimes look really good with no drops in fps but then it will just randomly make the textures go blurry acts like its lag but it might be my ssd not able to keep up with the game

That and vram, once again. And maybe cpu. It says 8gb in requirements but what about os? What about all these other things in a background? Im running this game with 12gb of vram, with no overlays and lightweight linux distro and still seen (albeit very rarely) lagging during foggy weather. So yeah, its a hungry game. Im talking about ultra, because there is no point in cutting graphics when one buys it for graphics.

Thank you for your update, often hardware monitoring services like you described may not accurately show. Personally mine shows my ram running at 1600Mhz when it is actually at 3000Mhz.

Can I check the type of hard drive you are using specifically as it does sound and from the image you shared, look like textures may simply not be loading fast enough.

Many thanks

Hey Switch Gears, thank you for the information. There are still some troubleshooting steps that we could test, to fix or mitigate the issue. Also, could you please let me know the following:

- Screen resolution and refresh rate
- GPU drivers version
- Do you have this problem as soon as you start the game or after playing for some time?
- Does it happen after performing specific actions/in specific areas or does it seem random?

As for troubleshooting steps, could you please follow this[ubi.li] guide and let me know if you notice an improvement?

Thank you very much.
my gpu drivers version is 32.0.15.7270
and i had avatar at resolution 1920 x 1080 my refresh rate is 60hz
and the problem seems random it works fine then it just decides to just go blurry on the textures and sometimes the game locks up but eveything is still going like its fine but locks up like its in a online game then catches back up

Thank you for your continued updates, it does indeed sound like maybe the SSD being used is not quite fast enough. Do you happen to know the brand/model?

In the meantime, I would also recommend changing the game priority in your task manager to high to ensure resources remain focused on the game for you.

Many thanks

Hey Switch Gears.

Sorry to hear that we were unable to help you.

You can still submit a support case and attach to it diagnostic reports from your PC where all your hardware information is summed up. Our colleagues from email support can analyse it and advise you accordingly.
Generating DxDiag and MsInfo system reports[www.ubisoft.com]

If you decide to wait for hardware upgrade, that's good too.
