Penance Quest cutscene won't trigger, cannot complete quest (Alma's avatar burial)

The 15 level quest Penance cannot be completed because the navi Ri'nela doesn't highlight under navi senses and when you meet her the cutscene does not trigger. Objective is to Meet Ri'nela at the burial mound, I am literally stood face to face pressing my character against her and nothing triggers.

Can anyone help? I'm open to all suggestions, thanks!

Thanks for telling me, will this bug significantly block my progress in the game? Do other quests require completion of it? If so is there a config trick or hex edit I can use to make the game think I've completed it?

I’ve the same issue, here hopping for quick fix before finishing main quest, which make those characters vanish from that location. I really need that closure on my playthrough.

It´s now the only quest that can´t be completed due to being bugged. I´ve already finished the SKy Breaker and Secrets of the Spires? Would you also mind to fix the occasional stutters and memory leaks?

I have the same problem in quest "Penance" and later this quest is gone of my quests. Now i have problem in quest "The Black Wind"... Please repair navi Ri'nela.

Same problem here so I decided to go ahead with the main questline only for it to bug out when I needed to talk to Ri'nela. Other than that I also noticed that the penance quest has completing disappeared.

I just got to that point in the game. I literally did every camp contribution, collectible quests and other missions before I will move on. But if I do, this quest will disappear :( . It is still bugged and doesn't trigger at 01/16/2025
