[BUG] Lightning in the Hand & Penance Quests

I've been running a new playthough ready to play the DLC and have encountered two bugged quests in my current playthrough:

1: Lightning in the Hand - Never appeared at any of the Research Stations, so cannot be started or completed. Quest is supposed to appear as early as Kinglor Forest and I'm currently nearing the end of the game.

2: Penance - Alma and Ri'nela are at the burial mound, but are unresponsive, and the quest cannot be continued. No markers appear in the Na'vi sense overlay either.

If there are any workarounds for these quests that anyone can share, I'd appreciate it!

Thank you for your message and sorry to hear it that you encountered these issues in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora.

The 2nd issue, Penance, is a known one, it has already been reported to the game team and is being investigated.

The 1st one, it does not show in our reports, sadly.
Perhaps some actions taken in the game block you from completing this quest intentionally, or it may be a new issue.

Please look it up online first, see how other players complete it, and if you do not find anything, let us know. Try travelling to different locations and then return to this one again.

It would be great to have screenshots or a short video, so we can pass it on to the game team.

Looking up the "Lightning in the Hand" quest only brings other people experiencing the same issue, unfortunately nobody has a guide on how to start it as it is apparently a random spawn

When did you create a new save and start this new playthrough?
Is this a Steam version of the game or Ubisoft Connect?

I am using the Ubisoft Connect version, and started this game with the latest update + all DLC installed

Not sure how relevant it is to post here, but it's the only place I've the same bug being mentioned. I've encountered the very same bug described above in relation to the mission Penance. If I recollect, I encountered the bug around the same time frame ~ December 12.

However, my gameplay is on PS5, and I'm also logged into my Ubisoft Connect account.
