Cannot find Activation Code

So Ubisoft requires a activation code to the game to play the game and ive looked through my account settings on steam for the licencing/activation code (not there). Looked at my email receipt where steam said it may be (not there). So... where do I find it? lol. If anyone can help that would be great.

Specifically I hit cancel on the activation code window and then launched it again from my Steam Library (hitting the "Play" button).

I'm happy to help, I just hope you can get in very soon! I know how frustrating that is to get a big new game, download it and then wait on support. Because the same thing happened to me yesterday before it worked - I had submitted a ticket to support and everything (which I closed once I get in).

Post here what happens. If you cannot get in soon on your own hopefully support gets to you ASAP!

nothing to do, I didn't succeed, in any case, thanks from Italy and we hope that the ticket will unblock the situation before it comes out on the 3rd at the cinema :)

So. It wanted the same thing from me. I just closed that window asking for it, opened ubisoft directly and logged in, then relaunched form steam. it didn't ask again and successfully launched. How well the game itself works remains to be seen and so far leaves quite a bit to be desired, but this should at least get around the activation code requirement.

General response from Support can take up to 2 months.

I have the same problem here, also when I hit play it loads for a brief moment then it displays play again without the game starting.

It does work for most people. They should try it and if it still doesn’t work then they should submit a support ticket.

Just install ubisoft connect, the one that isn't from steam. Have it open, launch the game and then it should give you the option connect your steam content with ubisoft account.
After that you don't need the original launcher.
Could be an issue because the standalone ubisoft connect is more newer than the one that comes with the game.
I have it installed anyway, so I took me just 2 times to login to ubisoft connect to play the game on steam.

Ubisoft, which I SHOULD NOT have to log into or have an account with, needs a bloody key to play an expensive game I just purchased, but I can't find said bloody key!

launched the game probably a dozen times as well as restarting and verifying files. still no launch.

Install the latest version of Ubisoft Connect, make sure to manually remove any older version you might have installed. Start Ubisoft connect, log in. Ubisoft connect should not ask for a game key.

LOL ! this is hilarious ! I knew that will happen. I enjoy that really much how steam users are screwed.
