Yes it is standard practice. Any Ubisoft game that has come to steam recently after being exclusive has had this discount when it launches.... same as other games I've seen, the two most recent being Dead Island 2 and Kingdom Hearts.
Even Metro Exodus did this 4 years ago https://www.pcgamer.com/metro-exodus-makes-its-way-to-steam-at-40-off/
.... Oh look at that, a couple of minutes of research and actually knowing what I'm talking about has dismantled your narrative :O

Wow, would you look at that. Seems pretty standard to me.... but I'm sure the goalpost will shift
Just some weirdos that need to sit on forums and crap on games and it's amazing how easily they can be proven wrong
Do you know what you call someone who is "told" something by comparing one data point? Well it's not flattering.
Suffice it to say that, like the OP, you don't know what you're talking about.🤡
Ah, so when you've been proven that you know nothing it's suddenly just you "exposing" people and not trying to speak like you have facts lmao.... Damn, time for you to make a third thread pretending to know anything to "expose" people
Haiyaa just say u're poor... Can't afford a 30 dollars price
That was a dirty move considering everyone that wanted it on Steam purchased it within the first week, and then already had too many hours to refund and even though Steam has the option for "it's available cheaper now" they won't do anything about it if you already had 2hrs in.
Plus fails to check steamdb and price history for all the games, like you can't hide these facts.
You can only be ignorant and blind to these facts.
I got Fallout 76 for free on steam, because I had it on EGS lel, as the most extreme sample of a game being time exclusive for other platforms.
Never happened but keep fighting those ghost's lol
