I must be out of touch with current trends.
The stream was so bad that it was sad to see how uninteresting and boring the game was. Then other people I've seen talk about and play it didn't help either. Also I mainly mentioned a stream because it was hella funny.
I kinda expected the base game to be $20 - maybe $30
You do not even link to the 'gospel according to the all telling stream'.
And were you planning to pay for and play the stream or pay for and play the game.
I ask because it is usually not a good idea to rely upon one source of information to come to a decision about such things.
Too many people out there have their own agendas or bias that blocks them from being fully objective. Others see something trending out there and decide to jump on the bandwagon in an attempt to feel/sound relevant.
Personally I have 150+ hours of fun play and frustration in the game and while it is not the second coming of the game world and it has faults/issues, it is still decent and worth a lot more than $20/30. You value Avatar the same as a meal for two from McDonalds or similar!!!!
Like I said I only mentioned the stream mainly because it was funny other than that Ive seen other people talk about and play it. Also the last new Ubi games ive played were kinda bad or boring so I have no trust that they can release a good game that's just a copy of Far Cry (a series that's garbage in its own right, now).
I can and have found streams for many games that are either positive or negative. What should that tell you?
And as a developer yourself, how do others rate your games?
I gotta be a dev now to dislike games?
Also the first part you said doesn't mean anything, just buy the game again if your trying to shill out to me this hard.
You seem to not own the game.
You have just watched some stream.
You have seen a few comments.
Yet, you can categorically state that the game is no good, even when you have had no first-hand experience.
That is more of a reflection on you, then the game.
And maybe in your world, you see such a need to buy a second copy of a game, but in my world that is just a waste of money to prove a moot point.
Crazy.
Why even come into a forum for a game to defend it when your not even gunna buy a second copy? You played it and moved on I would assume you wouldnt care about the game coming to Steam.
Also like I said Ive seen multiple people play and talk about it so that's what I'm basing my opinion on. I saw people talk about how bad/boring Legion, Far Cry 6, Valhalla, etc are and yeah they are just as boring and or outright bad as people said.
Using your 'logic', where is your second Steam copy? Surely, to trash a game you should at least have first-hand experience of it!!
Stop speculating on what you do not know. I still play it with over 150 hours invested. And looking forward to the DLC due next month.
I am still looking forward to the release of your first game. After watching a video or two and seeing a few comments, I would like to harshly critique it's design and content, if that is ok, assuming there are no double standards.
Huh? I don't even have 1 copy, rather take a dip in the ocean over paying for this.
Ahh, so that means that even not knowing you and just reading a few of your posts, I can critique you and that is fair game in your book. So why do you react the way you do?
'What is good for the goose is good for the gander' :)
Legitimately a wild response
