40% discount on "release" day? Bought, but...

First of all, I truly dislike Ubisoft games are not released on Steam day 1. I hate to wait until they are released here. Two of the games I'm most looking forward to this year are Star Wars Outlaws and Assassins Creed Shadows, and I will need to wait until probably next year to play them!!

But at the same time I was expecting full price for the Steam release of Avatar, something that would have made me wait several months for a discount, as I never will pay full price for a game released six month later. So that 40% discount has been a good move, as it made me purchase the game today.

Yes, a good move, Ubi, but I would prefer to pay 70€ on real day 1 on Steam than a 40% discount six months later.

it's easily worth the sale price. It's one of the best games Ubisoft has made in a long time

imho. Its the best looking game in the history of all games.
I compare all future games to this...graphics wise.
Some of the game mechanics can take some getting used to

It really is. I was surprised indeed when i saw the amount. Guess they really don't want to fumble that one.

The game was out for a while on Epic games first (for $70), probably has something to do with it
