Cant gather creeping moss

For me the little gathering dot wont appear on nether on the exquisite and superior so i cant harvest them according to a user they are position so where you cant gather them

Anybody having trouble gathering creeping moss [bug/glitch]

For me the little gathering dot wont appear on nether on the exquisite and superior so i cant harvest them i encountered a post around last year explaining the same problem for me its still happening so anybody experiencing this glitch or bug

Certain gatherables can have faulty positioning. Most commonly it happens with resins, bark and moss - generally objects attached to other ones. My guess is that activator for interaction is too small or flat and too deeply put inside base objects models, in that case trees.
Its not impossible though to find what you need - some of gatherables are without a doubt interactive. Its just a case of finding the right ones within right ones :).

make sense they sure need to fix the positions thx for the images but can you pin point on the map on the ones that are gatherable pls and thx

Its pointless. Because resources can change their classes with time (downgrade) and probably their positioning would not be the same. Scan those petrified trees while having moss pinned (not fallen trunks) and youll eventually get it. Wont help with "sheltered from wind" bonus because it seems totally random, same place can give bonus and reject it 🫠. Some dishes could help with that.

You need to find a specific harvesting spot for them.
Please have a look at online guides, YouTube videos on how other players deal with it.

Update: i managed to find a solution for those that struggle to gather creeping moss so basically look for this shape of petrified tree and find these two steps land on it and you should be able to gather the moss not all of them you can gather but so far most of them i can gather here a visual example https://imgur.com/a/mMMUCef
