What do I do with old gear?

I seem to be stockpiling lower level gear but so far I haven't found a place to sell or scrap it. Do I just drop it? Seems a waste to just throw away something like that.

Well, you can store it in your stash, donate it to local tribe's community basket, or just dump it on the ground. There IS a limit on how much you can just drop at one time though...
