I had the crashes (in a matter of a few seconds) on 3 differents PC (desktop & laptop) and I haven't encountered a single crash since then....
i was trying to refund it too but it wouldnt let me since my "play" time was over 6 hours and it was just me trying to run the game through those hours trying to find the issues...
is ur settings on low?
We might get it on sale later, at a cheaper price and hopefully with less bugs. But it's Ubisoft so... we'll see. Or we could get Palworld ^_^
Might take awhile, TD2's CTD issue really got super bad in update TU15 (~June 2022) - it hasn't gotten better - Massive Entertainment is the studio for both these games
i guess i got lucky somehow then..
i stop the game, look if any fix is possible, or i refund directly.
IF you're seeing issues on the jungle floor (Which I presume is red squares and or black ones.) that is Vram. The game does not use the amount it says in the options at the main menu, it amps up when you go into the game. It said I was going to use 8.4 at ultra, but actually amped up to 13.8. If I edited the LOD details 10 notches, it pushed it to 15 and I saw the red squares (I have a 4080 super.) so I turned the LOD details back down to default and have had no problems since then.
Thx a lot, i try this today !
Involves copy pasting dxgi and dx3d files to get the game to circumvent the W11 24H2 bug, but it comes at a trade off meaning no upscaling or frame generation. In turn this means degraded performance as well. I repurchased the game again after hearing the crashing issue was resolved ( I refunded before), only to find that the performance is worse than before and none of the upscaling settings seem to work and causes the game to become even more of a stuttery mess.
Unfortunate, but looks like I will be refunding it again.
