Thanks for letting us know.
Please raise this in a Nvidia forum as well.
We cannot assist you with the Nvidia app as it is not an application developed and supported by Ubisoft.
I'll move this thread to the General Discussion.
Launch it from UBI and it will work
Sadly, it didn't work. I tried many things (start from admin, reinstall, clear cache etc), including instructions from Nvidia Support. It's been almost a month since they "forwarded this ticket to a lvl 2 tech support", still waiting
have you tried the basic from the Nvidia App and that is to go to settings>scan Now Games and Apps, Locations. Point it directly at the game(s) folder(s)?
It simply detects it as a foreign app that's not supported
Is it installed on your Ubi account? If so launch it from the Ubi account itself. I think because it's linked to steam it may be the issue??
From what i've read on the net, some people have had success with other games by uninstalling the Nvidia App and reinstalling.
Are you on the Beta app? I don't know if it's been updated from Beta but i installed it when it was released??
"Hello,

Your case is referred to me regarding unable to detect Avatar frontiers of pandora game.
I am sorry to inform you this is open issue. Unfortunately we do not have official estimated when the issue will be fixed.
Once we have an update we will notify you.

I guess it's just like hoping and pressing, there are no other options yet.
my request:
Tried the following:
Add manually
Add the folder with the game in the search paths
Reinstall the game
Reinstall Nvidia app
Uninstall “...app” and install the “...Experience” version
Opening overlay while playing the game
Also tried giving administrator rights, and rights through windows firewall

To further isolate the issue, we need additional information. Please provide below details:
1. Have you verified that Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora appears in your library and is fully updated?
2. Do you encounter similar issues with other games, or is this problem isolated to Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora?
3. Have you tried clearing cef cache for the application?
4. Have you updated your graphic driver to the latest version?
5. Do you have any VPN enabled?
B:
1. >> Close the NVIDIA App if it's an active.
>> Open the Windows Run command by pressing Windows + R together.
>> Now copy and paste the following command within the bracket as is ( %LocalAppData%\NVIDIA Corporation\NVIDIA App )
>> Delete the entire "CefCache" folder. and Launch the application.
>> Remove NVIDIA app from Control panel > programs > uninstall a program > remove NVIDIA App
>> Restart the computer.
>> Reinstall NVIDIA App: https://www.nvidia.com/en-in/software/nvidia-app/
2. > Open the Windows Run command by pressing Windows + R together.
> Typing "services.msc" and clicking OK
> Scrolling down to NVIDIA and checking that the Startup type is set to Automatic and that Status is Running
> Right-clicking on NVIDIA and clicking Start if it's not
Yes, I tried to launch straight from Ubi without steam, didn't help. Nvidia support also mentioned that it being on Steam should not be a problem(
Tried uninstalling Nvidia App too, no Betas
Interesting, they never asked screen recording from me. Instead, they made me share my full system info and send log files after "reproducing the problem"
There are several games that the app promotes but doesn't recognize, another example is Final Fantasy XVI.
As I’ve said. Avatar is in my Nvidia App and I launch it. Also, I have it on the UBi platform and not on steam.
The only other thing I can suggest is make sure it’s the right .exe in the right folder? Some games have several .exe’s in them.
Do a manual ‘add game’ and see if it works rather than a scan check the .exe’s in case of subfolders
