Extreme loading times?
Just picked this up and at first the load times were long on the first night, but was to be expected since it was probably loading the shaders for the first time. Though after the latest update, it takes very long to load the game up, and then loading the save took way too long. I have it on a Samsung ssd and now I may port it to my M.2 to see if it helps. I even re-verified files which took 4 hours, which I thought was insane. None of my other games do this.

Anyone else having these issues? The first night playing seemed fine to me.

Well I guess that was the problem, the game loads within seconds now on my M.2. Didn't think it needed that and thought my 4tb SSD would suffice considering it's still pretty solid for my other games.

Hey Cubez, thank you for kindly taking the time to share this update. It is great to hear that moving the game to your M.2 has helped!

If ever there is anything else we can help with, just let us know

i dont mind the very long loading on my hdd, im patient, but i cant select options to create my character ? im kinda forced to select the first one cause it just doesnt work when i click on things... i hope i dont run into more problems, this is my first time playing...

creating my own character is kinda important for me so rn i dont really want to play. especially after waiting so long for the initial load. i just dont want more surprises along the way.

Fast ssd is mandatory, its in requirements where you buy the game. Trying to play on hdd is asking yourself for problems.

Thanks for the reply! I do have to say that I deeply appreciate all the Accessibility options in the game which has surprised me. Especially the options to either Quick Press, Hold, Toggle or Tap Twice is what gaming has definitely needed! It helps me out a lot as I was afraid that I would have trouble playing, which so far hasn't been the case. It greatly helps for those with disabilities.

The only thing I could think of for the Radial menu/wheel is another option to Hold, Hover over item then Let Go to consume it or to switch weapons or even ammo (i'm speaking broadly as i'm not far into the game if such things exist like switching weaps/ammo).

Other than that it's actually a beautiful game on max settings and can appreciate the little details. Thanks again and I hope you can use my suggestion for possible future updates or games!
