my assault rifle does no damage? :-\

seems like my assault rifle does no damage. I shoot things and there is no health bar or anything and nothing dies. I just my shotgun or bows and they work. how to fix this bug? :-\

Can you please share a short video of it, where we can see other weapons work correctly, but not the rifle, please?

Also, do you use any weapon modifications? Skins that you applied?
If yes, remove them and test it again. Possibly a rifle cosmetic causes it.

I did have mods on the assault rifle. However when I tried the game again the assault rifle seems to work again and I finished the game already so can't get footage. I might have changed the mods around or something can't remember.

This just started happening to me as well, playing on the Secrets of the Spires dlc

i dont have this game on steam but i do on UBISOFT. i just had this happen. i noticed it after i attached teh legendary mod eityher spotters or tactical compensator. ive also swapped mods and weapons, the only thing ive not done is move down to out of legendary attachments or weapons. but for me it seems to stay for all combos i use. i still get yellow, and red marks on a few shots but its mostly white markers. i am level 25 and on a level 20 npc it took 200 rounds and he didnt die.

Thanks for the video and the description, Sithkalek.

According to our game team this issue can happen with the Reflex Shot perk equipped.
See if you are using it and unequip it for now. You need to restart the game afterwards.

id punch those tin cans & plated goons. Reflex cheese cannot hinder true power. Punch them till their bones will break!
