Thank you for letting us know and sorry to hear Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora crashes on your PC.
As @Nud3lRick wrote, if you are on Windows 11 24H2, we are aware of the problem and are still working on a permanent solution.
(type WinVer in the Start menu and press Enter to check your Windows version and build)
yeah same
Really sorry to hear it that Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora started crashing on your PCs after the recent update.
Please make sure you start with verifying / checking integrity of game files, clear download cache in Steam and Ubisoft Connect and try again.
If the issue persists, try closing the unnecessary background processes and try again.
Disabling background applications on PC[www.ubisoft.com]
that can help
1- check if your windows forcely update your bios ( i recommabed to turn off this option from windows , and update your bios from the hardware manuferer , the stable version )
2- last windows forcely change the state of power plant setting CPU , SDD , Wifi .. , open your power plant setting , repair/check , if there's nothing , its all good , but you'll mostly get repair state cpu / SSD
3- if you're on laéptop , with intel cpu 10Gen and above , you need to pick for your power plant management ( balanced/normal ) , last update of windows change this setting on high performance by default , and you'll get instabilty of games ( craash , freeze ,drop fps , suttering
4- run the avatar exe application on adminsitrator
not necessary
steam with third party launcher ( API ) is quite bad ,
check you have an account on ubisoftconnect , DL ubisoft connect from the Ubisoft website
then link your ubisoftconnect account to steam
DRM and VPN , a lot og game can have issues with vpn software , check if there's any background task running from your vpn software
I had the same issues, did everything and all crashes.
I understand my issues was just the wireless USB headphone.
Just change to a directly USB 3.0 and it works. No more crashes.
If you are using some USB adoptor ou something like that, try whithout it.
