Yes and with no issue.

yes, but you will be missing out on the ps5 dualsense features in terms of when using a gun, you get a hefty trigger feedback when shooting with it.
Also how to properly gather materials without breaking them, as you can feel where it gives away instead of breaking it and "ruining" the material.

It wouldn't be on PC if you couldn't...

While you can, I strongly recommend that you try it on a Dualsense controller if you have one available. They are utitlizing all the Dualsense goodness from force feedback triggers to gyro motion control. It's a much more visceral experience. I don't even know how you gather resources without it because I have to use the "feel" of it to adjust and know when to fully pull. I'm sure there is something equivalent but it's fun how it works on Dualsense.

I love the different feels of the ground beneath me as I traverse the landscape. Or the vibration of an explosion,. Or the kick of a shotgun, the thwap of the bow string, or the natural aiming just like you would with holding a firearm. It's really great IMHO.

I actually wish someone (Valve?) would invent a standard for force feedback and haptic feedback gaming KBM (you obviously can't use gyro aiming with KBM but you wouldn't need it as mouse is still superior aiming). Historically, as a PC gamer for decades, I've long loved the sophistication of control with KBM but I started experimenting seriously with controllers when I got my Steam Deck and have discovered a lot to love. I'd love to see the gap between the two bridged.

Even just with haptic feedback like in my Xbox controller it adds a level of physicality that I now miss with KBM. But it doesn't seem there should be a reason they can't add at least that much to KBM.

There are some games on PC that can only be played with a controller and not keyboard & mouse. Example>> Undisputed (boxing game) :worf_rage:
