But with the current discount, the ultimate edition is cheaper than the base game with no discount, so if you had thought of buying the game when not on a discount, it might be worth pickup up the ultimate edition now and saving a bit and reaping the rewards of all the content.
I wasn't big into Far Cry (although I love Far Cry Primal and own Far Cry 6 but didn't get into it) but I love the most recent Assasin's Creed Entries (Odyssey, Origins, Valhalla) and am looking forward to Shadows. So given that, FWIW, I absolutely love this game and recommend it's probably best to take a chance on getting the Ultimate edition assuming that amount of money is not a major issue for you.
Also in Origins I loved the one where they leaned into the ancient egyption mythology which was really trippy. I loved it.
